IPTV Smarters Pro setup guide for every device

IPTV Smarters Pro is one of the most widely used IPTV players because it runs almost everywhere: Fire TV, Android phones and TVs, Apple devices and computers. This guide shows where to get it on each device, how to log in, and how to fix the errors that come up most.

What IPTV Smarters Pro does

The app is a player: it organises and plays the service you subscribe to. After you log in, the home screen shows large tiles for Live TV and, when your subscription includes them, Movies, Series and Catch up, plus a TV guide (EPG), multi-screen viewing and settings.

Because it’s only a player, the app itself doesn’t change what you can watch. Everything you see comes from the login you enter.

Where to install it

Download the app only from the official store or the developer’s own website. Copies on file-sharing sites are often outdated or bundled with malware.

Log in with Xtream Codes (recommended)

Xtream Codes is the quickest way in, and it loads the TV guide automatically. Have your server URL, username and password ready.

1. Open the app and accept the terms

   The first time you open IPTV Smarters Pro, it asks you to accept the terms of use. On TV devices, choose the layout you want if it asks (the TV layout is easier with a remote).

2. Choose Login with Xtream Codes API

   On the list of login options, select Login with Xtream Codes API.

3. Fill in your details

   Enter Any name (a label for this login, for example Home), then your Username, Password and the URL exactly as we sent them. The URL usually starts with http:// and ends with a port number such as :8080.

4. Add the user and wait for the download

   Select Add user. The app downloads your channels, the TV guide and, if included, movies and series. When it finishes, you land on the home screen.

Log in with an M3U link

If you have an M3U link instead, choose Load your playlist or file/URL, select the M3U URL option, paste the full link and add the user. M3U logins don’t always include the TV guide: if the guide stays empty, ask us for the EPG link or use the Xtream Codes login instead.

Settings worth knowing

Open Settings from the home screen. A few options solve most playback complaints:

1. Stream format: if a channel won’t start, switch between the default format, MPEGTS (.ts) and HLS (.m3u8). One of them usually plays better on your network.
2. Player selection: you can use the built-in player or an external one such as VLC. Try the other player if a channel has sound but no picture.
3. EPG time shift: if programme times are an hour out, adjust the shift here instead of changing your device’s clock.
4. Parental control: lock categories with a PIN if children use the same device.

Multi-screen and favourites

Multi-screen shows up to four channels on one screen on supported devices. Keep in mind that each stream uses a connection, so watching four at once needs four devices on your plan. To build a favourites list, open a channel list, highlight a channel and press and hold OK (or tap the star on touchscreens).

Fixing common errors

“Invalid username or password.” Logins are case-sensitive. Retype them rather than pasting, and check for a space at the end.

“Server error” or nothing loads. Check the URL: it needs http:// (not https:// unless we said so) and the port number. A single missing character stops the login.

Channels buffer or freeze. Change the stream format in Settings, try the external player, and use 5 GHz Wi-Fi or a cable. If two screens are watching on one connection, the second one will be refused or interrupted.

The TV guide is empty. From the Live TV section, refresh the EPG and give it a minute. If you logged in with M3U, switch to the Xtream Codes login.
